answer M7324 by lifting handset

does anyone know under what condition this fails ...
just this one extension has to press a button (intercom or target line) to answer a call.

DND on busy is N, handsfree is Auto ...

swapped the phone out ...

thanks luv2ski ... but that is the setup the same way ...primeline is I/C, when i pickup the handset the call appr / dial tone comes on the i/c button, the problem is only on i/c calls (mics 5.0)

target line needs to be appear and ring or ring only to able to answer without pressing a button

check the handset that its not plugged into the headset jack. this too will make you press a button.

Hi Everyone.. also had this working then I messed something up. Used to get dial tone by picking up the handset, or with remote handset lifter, but now.. no go. M7310 and primeline is set to I/C. Any other ideas?

Telemarv is right. Your handset cord may be on the headset jack. Turn the phone upside down and check.
If not, try a different phone.

The line has to ring for that to work,does your phone have a
cap on it , i had one with a botton stuck and it did some different things,
