Hello,

I'm on a very old Norstar system (2.1). I'm trying to stop an extension from ringing at it. I've gone into the Line Access and have assigned the line to be private to the intended extension. Yet, when I do a Feature *0, the button says "Answer <ext>" <ext> = extension number. Is there any way to get rid of this? I have tried to cancel it by doing a Feature * 3 and reassigning it, but all it says is "Must answer Call".

Help?!

Go into CONFIG, then Terminals and sets, then under line access, there is an item called ANSWER DN's. Do a show there, and remove the extension that is showing up.
