Anser DN not ringing

Hi,

I am working on a MICS 6.1/Norstar VM 4 system.

Extensions each have 1 target line that is set up as type "PUBLIC".

For 2 of the extensions, I have set up Answer DNs (appear & ring)on the Op Console (7324).

The problem is that when calls come into the target line on the extension, the Answer DN does not light or ring. Internal calls to the extension do show up properly on the Answer DN.

How can I make the Answer DN show all calls on the set?

Oops! Embarrassing! Make that subject "Answer DN not ringing!!"

They should?? I just did the exact same thing recently and it worked.
How have you assigned the target line to the set - appear and ring or ring only? - or did you just make that set the prime for the target line?

Check to see how your ANSKEY is set under FEATURE SETTINGS.
There are three settings, BASIC, ENHANCED, and EXTENDED. Basic is the default and is most restrictive on what rings on an Answer DN. Extended allows everything to ring except for Priority calls and Voice calls.
