Another Users voicemail calling an internal ext

Hi Guys,

I have IPO 9.0.700.983 all ip handset 9608 with Voicemail Pro (Linux Application server)
A User, IP Extension 208 is complaning that another Users Voicemail ext 410 is calling but when they answer the call from ext 410 they get extension 410 Voiceail Greeting message to leave a message.

I have checked both users Voicemail Ringback is off also checked the users Source Numbers which are set V208 which is default. I also check Shortcodes on system also on the Users twining forwards etc but nothing is set and all shortcodes are set as deafault.

Would anyone have any suggestions?

Have you checked the outcalling setting in VM Pro for the user?

No I have not, Can a User set this from the phone? Or can this only be done on the client software connect?
 
either I believe but have not tested. You should be able to check in the client to see if it is set. If not delete the MB and restart the VM service to reset the MB.

I was avioding clearing the mail box. Ill check the outcalling settings then if all set as default or nothing in ther ill say good bye mail box.lol
 
you could get the logs from the VM pro, run them in verbose mode. This should tell what the VM is doing. Also could the originator of the call be asking for a call back from the user when they get off the phone and it is ringing the caller but just going to VM? You might need to look at the monitor also if the MB reset does not work.

I have ran a monitor trace on system in default settings. It might be an ID to run the VMPro logs in verbose mode.
Of course the 2 x Users arent doing anything? So they say.....
Ill check again tomorrow but I thought I had set under the user who's voicemail is ring out under TUI settings to basic only.
Ill need to trace and find exactly what they could be doing and explain where they are pointing there fingers.lol
 
you can look at the SSA while it happens to see if you can identify the problem. Also going onsite and duplicating the issue is the fasted way to diagnose finger pointing. You know, hey it was doing it before!!
