Another Site Check...Tear It Up!! 1

I'm working on my first site (for someone other than myself) and I've just completed the design. I have no contect yet so this is just the home page. Any & all suggestions (and even criticisms) will be appreciated. It is not very "flashy" but they just want a simple but great-looking site. Thanks in advance for any help.

looks great

2 things:
the beveled buttons are kind of outdated... make some slick looking buttons to fit the rest of the design

make the bg color the same blue... what might be cool is if you make the main window pop a smaller window with the page in the smaller window and in the bigger main window you can do something like put a big logo image....

I'll try some different looking buttons. I'm not really excited about the pill-shaped beveled buttons either but I kind of got brain dead when experimenting with different button designs & couldn't come up with anything better. Maybe a new day will bring some new ideas...

Also, yeah, the bg is white because I am planning on this being a new window just as you suggested.
