Another Runtime 424 error

I'm getting a Runtime error 424 (object required).

I'm pretty sure it is in the set up some where but don't know exactly where to start.

Filecopy templatefile, newfile

wddname.getobject (newfile)

Additional information

The templatefile is a word document with bookmarks. Stopping the code and running explorer shows that the new file exists with the correct name and where it is supposed to be. After the - getobject - data from the database is copied to the bookmarks. However, I'm getting the error and the data is not inserted.

The database is split with the front end on the workstations.

On my PC I don't get the error.
A user comes to my PC they get the error.

Users get the error on their PC.
I go to a user PC I get the error.

The configurations of the PCs are different. Unfortunately I had no control over this.

My PC has add-in Tools (Database Splitter, etc) installed.
User PCs do not.

Network logins are used but not roaming profiles. Again not my call.

Anybody have any ideas.

All I can think of is to check your tools references. This can be done via a code window. Hope this is ok. If not, just let me know.
