Some days ago they published the new J100 R4.0.8 release wich I downloaded and installed in my labs, today surprise: release removed, even if the related docs are still there.

WTF are they doing ?

I have been told by Avaya to use the 4.0.4 release of firmware multiple time, seems like it is the most stable.

What a waste of time, if they publish docs stating these releases solve problems is obvious that people is authorized to install, are they serious?

Like in my other post Avaya is not even worried about the IP Office the only thing on their mind is Cloud which is sad as we have thousands of IP offices out there that customers want and love. The don't always want to be pushed to cloud offers. Avaya doesn't care about this product anymore it seems like. Hopefully someone with some vision will buy the IP Office platform from Avaya before it is to late.

I actually noticed that yesterday and downgraded back to 4.0.7.1.5 because I wanted to rebuild my SD Card.

They may not care about IPO but they're stupid if they don't think a good portion of the cloud based customers they're looking for won't come from their loyal IPO base. Stupid business move if they think otherwise!

Thanks, Tim
