In our office we have an IP500 v2 with 8.0(43). I have 8 Nortel phones plugged in for testing purposes. Out of the blue an M7208 just started ringing without stopping. I unplugged it. It did it again later. I unplugged it and left it unplugged. Came in this morning and an M7310 was doing the same thing. Really ridiculous Avaya!

I can recommend going to your local hardware store purchasing a lump hammer .......and well guess the next step

We were SO hoping this would work. There are so many Nortel systems out there. If someone has a direct line to a major decision maker in Avaya please call them and tell them that they need to KEEP the BCM50. PLEASE!!

Wouldn't be having any issues if they would have been smart and kept the BCM50 and had the best of both. Money in their pocket either way.

You can forget about them keeping the BCM any more than we can hope for them to keep the Partner. That ship has sailed and it is not coming back. Better to make due with what we have and open a ticket to get the issue resolved.

Well as a wise, grumpy old man once said. "You can wish in one hand and crap in the other and see which gets filled first."

I thought that you were going to say "plugged itself in and started ringing."

Would have made a good opening scene for a horror movie.

LOL that is funny. It would really be a horror movie if the M7310 was NOT plugged in and started ringing and I answered and heard a scary voice on the other end.

Delete the user merge then recreate, it has nothing to do with Nortel phones I have seen this on 1408's before :)

Well that's good to know. I will certainly give it a try.
