I downloaded a demo version hatch maker, I think it was hachet or something. Does anyone know how hard it is to make a custom hatch patter or is there a very good software that will allow you to take any shape, text or lines and convert it to a hatch?

Thanks, G

*MetricBlock, 200x400 Metric Masonary Block
0, 0,0, 0,200
90, 0,0, 200,200, 200,-200

is my definition for a simple metric block hatch

each custom hatch must be in it's own file, and that file must be named the same as the hatch name. ex. the above is saved in the acad support directory as "MetricBlock.pat"

You can do a search of the autaCAD help for "custom hatch pattern" and look for the title "Create Hatch Patterns"
This will explain what the numbers and their order means.

I will keep me eyes open for an easier way then by hand.
