Another Outlook Error message Can someone Explain?

This is the error I currently get when I send mail to a pop account


Task 'mail.mac.com - Sending' reported error (0x80042109) : 'Outlook is unable to connect to your outgoing (SMTP) e-mail server. If you continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).'


Why do I get relay errors when sending from lan accounts

If your using Outlook 2002 this may be your problem...

if not, make sure you are useing the correct outgoing mail server. meaning, use the server of the provider (ISP) you're on now.
