Network share works wired but not via wireless???
Peer to Peer no server using netbios workgroup
2 routers, one has a WAN to internet router1 LAN ip 192.168.2.1, router2 lan ip 192.168.2.2
crossover cable used to link the 2 routers expanding 4 ports to 6 ports
router2 is also a wireless access point set up with WPA TKIP encryption
Netbios over TCPIP enabled with common workgroup.
laptop has both wired and wireless interface ... when plugged into router 2 (just being used as a switch) if I use the wired port I have no problem doing a map drive to a shared PC on router 1 ... however disable the wired port and enable the wireless port (uses router 2 as well) then the administrator error comes up (not allowed notify admin)
Is this possibly because the NEtbios over TCPIP is not working through the wireless??? encryption???
using SMC2804WBR and LINKSYS 4 port routers.
