I have a v5.07 SCO box that has about 20 LPD HP laserjet printers. I created the printer in /etc/hosts & /etc/printcap file. The printers all work Great!!
My question is why won't lpstat command work? Here is the error message I get.
tron # lpstat -t
UX:lpstat: ERROR: The LP print service isn't running or can't be
reached.
TO FIX: Your request can't be completely handled
without the LP print service. If this
problem continues, get help from your
system administrator.
scheduler is not running
no system default destination
Does lpstat only work with non lpd printers?
Thanks for all your help on my other LPD question.
