I was told that Indesign will let me save my work as something that other people (who don't have InDesign installed) will be able to open.

Quark 4.1 would only save my work as a .qxd file (damn near useless to the rest of the world other that printer services).

Indesign appears at first glance, that I can only "save as" an .indd file.

I bought this tool so that others could open my work as a .bmp / .jpg / .pdf file. That's what the vendor told me I could do.

Am I wrong???

Ahhh, "export"

Just got the answer from that "TOC" Question.

Thanks.

On the file menu also look for PDF Export presets.
