Hi guys,
We are getting the E3392 client agent timeout error.

So far I've increased the timeout values and other items mentioned here (
Today I modified my NIC properties from Auto Detect to full duplex. Unfortunately I can't test it until later this evening.

In the meanwhile I'd like some advice on what I can try before this evenings backup. Looking at the logs on the client agent below it seems as though the job fails ONLY when reaching the E drive. It has no problems backing up the C & D drives.

modify the job and when resubmitting it select Source Priority and move the E drive to first. This is to tell if the failure happens whenever E is backed up or if it happens after a certain amount of time.

It happens irregardless of the backup order of the drives on that machine. I modified the job to backup the client agent first to see if that might be the issue.

The backup ran sucessfully last night. The difference was
1. backing up the client computer first
2. CAI support recommended deleteling the files rAAAAAJL.chg
rdm.chi, rdm.chk from the arcserve database directory.

So for now this issue is closed.
