Alright guys, hopefully this is simple. I work for a restaurant that uses the Aloha POS system. The terminal were having issues with was working fine, then we unplugged it to move it to a different location. Now when the system starts, it gets stuck on "searching for file server". I verified the Ethernet ports work fine. One thing I couldn't find was ctlsrv service in task manager. This is just a terminal. Not the master terminal or file server. Fix has got to be simple right?

Back here trying to get this up and running. Date and time on terminal looks good.

Can you ping the other terminals and BOH from this machine? if yes then see if you can unc to them \\alohaboh or \\term1. if no, check your ip address and make sure correct

Trying to ping to terminal from BOH, and trying to ping BOH from terminal gives me destination host unreachable. I will receive packets though, but the amount is random. On the terminal itself, my wired connection will show unidentified network randomly. Ip address is correct.

Update, its a wiring issue. Seems to not like CAT 5 cables. Works with a cat 6.
