Hi, I'm running Bexec V8.6 Rev 3808 and I am getting Dr Watsons on bngine.exe (0xc0000005), Address: 0x77f6496b.

It's running on NT4 Server, SP6a, and it DW's during an exchange mailbox backup job. Exchange is version 5.5 Enterprise SP4. It does backup some mailboxes, but crashes at some point during the job.

I've read the other threads and the technotes on veritas.com, and it seems that Dr Watson should have been fixed by the later releases of v7.x of backup exec. So why am I still getting them??

Anyone experienced this and been able to fix it?

Also, I downloaded V8.6 rev 3878 to see if this would help. The self extracting file wouldn't self extract. And When I unzipped it with a 'third-party' product, the installation program wouldn't run!!

help?!?

Thanks.

Adrian.
