I have read articles on how to disable the right-click function to prevent someone from copying a photo on a web site.

It works well when in thumb-nail view, but when you click to enlarge the picture, the above option no longer work, since it opens a new page.

Is there any other way to protect a photo, or is it just the nature of the beast?

Thanks for responding to this ongoing question

There is not way to protect anything that you put on the web. If you place that image in an HTML file - you can still disable right click, but I can still go to view source. And that image is also in my temporary internet cache. If worse comes to worse & I REALLY want that image, I can take a picture of my screen.
