I have a circle. in that circle is another circle. When I try to clipp mask i am left with just the innside circle. I may use the wrong tool, but what I try to do is to make a "0" logo that I can later export to a EPS format.
The logo I try to make shuld have nothing in the hole, just like a donut.. (mmmm donuts).
I tried about anything, but need help with this one

Compound Path is what you mant, not clipping path. Think of clipping path as a mask that mask everything outside the shape. The compound path will combine them into one shape. If you create outlines of the fonts, you will notice that most of the fonts are compound paths.
