I am using CR8.5 Developers edition.
The report is blank with just a chart created in the header.
The chart is based on an sql7 table with datapoints in each row.
Example:
Fields: wk_strt wk_end Total_Open End_Open
Data: 9/24/01 9/30/01 61 13
10/1/01 10/7/01 41 5
The chart generates Ok using:
On change of metrics_total.wks_strt-A
in Chart Expert.
The chart group labels appear as mm/dd/yyyy as would be expected from the column data and are in ascending order.
Problem: I need the labels to appear in "mmm dd" format due to crowding with more than 3 or 4 weeks. I prefer not to use rotation, if possible.
Is this possible with Crystal? And, if so, can someone (or everyone) share the how? I can only find appearance formatting for the labels and not the actual text.
I am new to Crystal (about 3 weeks) and hope I can share answers here, at some point, also.
Thanks for your time,
Stan
