Another case of Proliant Black Screen lockup

Similar to the other Proliant NT black screen case, I have 2 servers that according to my night operator were both restarted at the same time and both boot normally, allow you to login to the network, but when it comes time for windows to come up I get black screens with blinking cursor in the upper left corner. I managed to run explorer.exe from the task manager (new task), which is the only thing I can get to, and it resotres my desktop but... Tried removing Media Player to no avail. Please help.

Oops, I need to correct something in my question. I stated that I had a cursor in the upper left corner. That is incorrect. I have just a black screen and a mouse pointer.
