I have a release 6 MICS, I know you need 6.1 to have caller ID shown before answering, the customer wants the higher release, they also want the ability to scroll through missed calls and see the numbers that called them while they were away from their desk. How is this accomplished and is this a release issue? Appreciate the help.

To see previous calls you need to assign the log space to each extension that wants it. The system is limited to something like 250 call log entries, so you could assign 50 to 5 extensions, or 25 to 10 extensions, etc. This is done under Terminals & Sets - Telco Features. Once log space is assigned you then dial F*84 at each extension to program the log options.

Swapping software is simple. Just power down, swap the software card, and power on.

Thank You for your reply. I have set the extn to log all calls, (221) assigned 40 to the pool for this extn. Tested a call, hit feature 812 and it still says call log empty. Any ideas if I have missed something in Programming? Again I appreciate your help.
