Another Bus split question

I have a BCM 400 on 4.0 in 3/5 split mode. I have a DSM 32 plugged into the main cabinet and set for bus 6 offset 0. I don't need more than two digital sets off of the DSM. Will this work? I have nothing else on 6.

Yes it will work. 3/5 split mode mean bus 7 will be used for applications leaving bus 2 to 6(5 buses).

Make sure you are using a DSM-32+ and set dip switch 1 (first from left to right) to activate ports 617-632. If you don't, then it will automatically try and use bus 7 which won't work.
