Another application has the switch identities

Iam having some fun with my outlook, i think i have a virus that various up to date packages and adware/spybot cant fix.

I have had a email of a friend who i have never sent one to recently that was a load of junk, so i suspect a virus or something.

Any way outlook is nnow saying this when i try and use it "Another application has the indentites or indentity login dialog showing"

Is ther anyway i can find out what is using outlook and more to the point fix it?

BTW iam using outlook express, cant get the version number due to cant open the program.
