Anonymous FTP

Hi all !

How do i disable anonymous ftp on my solaris box(SunOS 5.6) ..ie..when i try ftp via a web browser , i want the system to prompt for a user login rather than use the anonymous login and show the list of directories on the server.

i guess it depends on your ftp server (i'm sure ours doesn't do anonymous)

anyway, if you remove the user anonymous from /etc/passwd and shadow, then noone can log in as anonymous
