I am currently running IIS and SQL on 2 different servers. When an anonymous access tries to access a SQL Pivot table on my intranet site, it complains about not being able to find the SQL server! If I log into the Domainm it works fine.

I am using the same anonymous account (DOMAIN\IUSR_server) for both servers, with relevant access for that account on the NT File stucture.

My anonymous access works fine if I am just browsing the Intranet site!

I have included this domain account into the Guest accounts on both the NT Servers, but still I get the above error!

Has anyone had this problem or know the answer?

Try to creat an alias in the webserver for the sql server, you can use the BDE for this purpose it is free for download on borland.com, or add an alias in the ODBC available in the control panel.
hope this will help. iis_guru@yahoo.com
