Hi,

We have a word document template that is used by our case checkers.

In a table there are a load of form controls, some checkboxes.

When the user double clicks the control to get the dialog box to 'check' the checkbox, after clicking OK an annoying table properties type tool widget pops up getting in the way of being able to read the document and just generally annoying the user.

Here is a screen shot of the tool widget popup

Is there a way to stop this popup?

Thanks,

You can go to File, Options, General and turn of the mini-toolbar pop up. Caution: it will turn off for all purposes.
