I am using IE7, when I go to a page that requires flash player, I install but the page still says I need it...What could be going on?

Id completely remove the current version and also shockwave flash if it is installed. Then go to adobe's flash site and install it directly from there.

There is a point in wisdom and knowledge that when you reach it, you exceed what is considered possible - Jason Schoon

Check manage add ons and ensure shockwave has not been disabled.
