annoying feature of worksheet TABS in Excel 2010

Hi,

Default worksheet tabs have a bevel/curved appearance to them - is there a way to remove this curve and just have old style "flat" tabs?

Or, it is possible to set worksheet tab FONT colour.

Reason for posting is that tab name hard to read on certain colours - and before you say it, no we can't change the colours

I'm using Excel 2010 - home and work, I've seen it on multiple PC's, including one Mac, and I've yet to notice any significant difference to the tabs/sheets appearance. I don't see it being more beveled/curved.

Perhaps the system font is set incorrectly? Have you tried checking through the display settings for Windows?
