Hi all,

I am getting 2 very annoying errors when using Paradox 8 with SQL Server 2000.

The first is an 'Unexpected: General Protection Violation' when I try and do certain tasks with SQL Server tables such as queries.

The other is 'Temporary Table Resource Limit' Table:part.

This error occurs when running a query. The table Part is a table within the query.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Is it a BDE issue? When I carry out the exact same tasks but substitute SQLServer with SQLBase everyting works fine!

Thanks,

Woody.

When using the two different servers, are you also using a different :pRIV: directory? Or doing this from two different workstations?

Ok... I've sorted the problem....

I downloaded the latest version of BDE 5.11 (I was using 4.0). This allowed me to get past the GPV problems and recreated the query. Once I recreated it the problem went away!

Thanks,

Woody
