annoying disconnect sound and button question

When the company i work for recieves a call and the caller hangs up on the auto attendant, the phone rings for the secretary and plays the annoying disconnect sound, it does the same thing if someone directs the call to one of the persons that work their, there has to be something that i can do so that the system hangs up on them. And the second thing is, everyone in the office is using mlx20L phones and i program the buttons for certain people so they can use for like transfers or to talk to each other in the office?

You're not receiving the loop start disconnect signal from the phone company, or you're not programmed to recognize it.

So the caller hears the AA, hangs up, the AA doesn't know that, keeps playing the menu, waiting for the caller to make a choice. Since they're gone, it times out and transfers to the Operator.

Go to LinesTrunks, TT/LS Disc, LS Disconnect, make sure it's set to YES.
