Annoying Combo Box Behavior

I am a great believer in combo boxes and use them in many situations to simplify form completion for the user.

Only thing is, when the list gets long (for example I have a CB based on a table field with over 100 items in an alphabetical list) I am not able to drag the scroll bar because as soon as I let go it "snaps" to either the beginning or the end of the list. The CB works fine if I just patiently hold the down-arrow of the scroll bar, I am just not able to drag the scroll bar.

I'm sure there is a property setting, or some code I can use to change this behavior, but I haven't come across any info about it. Am I the only one in the world who is having this problem?

this isn't normal behaviour, but it does happen - usually the cause is something to do with the underlying query. Post it and we can have a look...
