Hello All!

I am trying to create something that will allow callers to call in and listen to announcements. Idea is to have employees call in and listen for the announcement that will tell them if they are to come back to work or not. Like John, Peter and Sam are to report to work tomorrow. The catch is to have this easy to operate (for callers just to call the number and listen) and for management to maintain (record the announcements every day) with out bugging me of course.

How should I create this? We have IP office 412 and VMPro. Please help. Preferably, they would like to have 2 numbers; one for English and one for Spanish.

Thanks in advance, George

Make two incoming call routes were both are pointing to the same module in VM Pro, example VM:StartHere.
Set the locale of the first route to enu or eng and the other to spa.

Create new module in VM Pro named StartHere.
put a Generic action into this module and enter the following into the File Path : $LOC\do or do not come.wav
Connect the result of the generic action to the begin of the generic action ( create a continous loop )

Create a new Shortcode in IP Office and direct it to the VM Pro to a new module named RecordMessage.

Create a new module in VM Pro named RecordMessage and add a menu. In the menu activate tone 1 and 2, record a prompt like "Record your message, choose 1 for english or 2 for spanish".
Add two EditPlaylist actions, name one English and the other Spanish.
Connect menu choice 1 to English and choice 2 to Spanish.
In the EditPlaylist actions (both the same ) add in the file path the following : $LOC\do or do not come.wav
Save and make live.
Done!
First record the do or do not come.wav by dialling the shortcode and follow the instructions. Once recorded external callers will be given the "do or do not come.wav" message.
