Hello everybody,

i´m trying to achieve an announcement over an audio file which is reachable with an own DN within my company. I know it´s a job for the so called announciator, but i don´t want to buy this product for simple playback of one announcement, since this is everything i want to achieve.

I also know i´m able to solve the problem with an answering machine behind one of our ATAs, but this is exactly what i want to avoid...another machine with cables and blabla, also nobody should talk messages on it.

We are using a 2811 router with c2800nm-spservicesk9-mz.124-22.T.bin, but our CME isn´t configured, we are using CUCM 6.1.3.

This should be able with TCL on the router, isn´t it?
I tried a little bit, but i couldn´t get it working...

BTW:
Can i achieve this functionality with our CallManager itself???

Thanks in advance,
Andreas

Do you have Unity voicemail? If so, you could use a Unity mailbox and set it to not take messages, just to Hang Up after the greeting is played.

BTW Annunciator is in CCM 6.1.3 for free. There may be a way to put in a custom message but I don't know how. If you can, you may be able to create a Route Pattern that blocks all calls then plays your custom message.

Thanks for your fast response, but no, we don´t have unity, just plain CUCM.

Regarding the Announciator, you meant that?

I´ll gonna try this. But i didn´t mean the built-in announciator, i stumbled across an own server with this functionality.

Hi,

i got rid of my problem:
I created a HuntPilot with a queue, and no phones associated.
I selected a MOH which i transferred before to the CUCM, so everything is fine. The only problem is the continous playback, if more than one caller uses the queue, the second caller hears the stream from its actual position.

But this doesn´t matter in our scenario. :)

HI itsmemario,

I just wondering when you say you selected a MOH which you transferred before to CUCM, what do you mean by that?
would you please tell me how do you did it?
