Hello, everyone. How can I add a font to the Text Properties dialog box that comes up when you right-click on a text annotation? I want annotations to appear in a particular TTF font. It is correctly installed and is available to Windows. I have set this font in all the preferences boxes, and have told distiller where on the hard drive it is located and that it should be embedded, but I can't get it to appear. It seems that the only possibilities for annotations are the fonts that show in the Text Properties box that comes up when you right click on an annotation. How can I add a font to that Text Properties box? Thank you.

Hi,
This is not an answer to your query. On the contrary, we'd like to know how you have achieved annotation.

We have the requirement of Online editing of PDF files, so that the we can edit the PDF representations online, make corrections and save it to the server. This plugin should also be able to annotate PDF files.

for example the following steps may describe the scenario:
1. The user opens a PDF file in the browser, which is
basically an image.
2. The user wants to suggest some changes to existing image.
3. He writes the required changes in a (text) box and draws a line from the box to the place in the image where the change needs to be reflected.
4. The user saves the image.
5. The changes are saved on the image at the server

It will be helpful if you can let us know how the same can be achieved and which version of Adobe has to be used.

Regards,
Vasudha

The procedure you describe is basically what I do, but I have not been annotating online. My colleague sends me the file directly. I annotate it as you describe and send it back. I think (but don't know) that there are various security levels that can be set to allow for more access or less to an online file. Sorry that I can't help but I'm a newbie with acrobat 4.
