I have a partner messaging module set up on ACS system. One of the prompts sends the caller to an announcement. After the announcement plays the VM tells the caller goodbye and hangs up. Is there a way to program it so that after the announcement plays it goes back to the Auto Attendant message instead of hanging up?

Thanx

If all else fail, reboot.

1 option is to incorporate, into the announcement, instructions to press *7 to return the caller to the previous menu.

Partner Messaging?

Use a submenu instead of an announcement, Dial 0/timeout follows the auto attendant's setting.

Or, send the call to an extension that covers to the 2nd auto attendant, selector codes disabled, dial 0/timeout pointing to another extension that covers back to auto attendant 1.

Or, send the call to a mailbox, call answer mode set to answer only, personal operator set to go to some extension or back to the auto attendant.

I changed them to submenus this works but it transfers them to CAS which is ext 10. They would like after the submenu plays to have it go back to the AA message. Is this possible?

Make two mailboxes, without phones, that point to the auto attendants.

By this I mean, make mailbox 51, assign it to Auto Attendant No. 1, and set its phone status to "without a phone". Then make mailbox 52 the same way, except assign it to Auto Attendant No. 2

(2 for Extensions, 51#, 3 to assign it to an Auto Attendant, 1 for AA No. 1, 6 for No Phone. Same senario for 52)

Now set up Auto Attendant No. 2's schedule controller to "follow the weekly business schedule", and make it Closed for all days. This is so you only have to record your announcement once, in the night menu, and it will always play regardless of the Night Service button's setting (if you use one)

Disable ALL selector codes in Auto Attendant 2's Night Menu, and set the Dial 0/Timeout option to transfer to Extension 51 (try the option of "record a message in mailbox 52", but I think it won't let you do that one, since it points to an auto attendant. I don't have one in front of me right now to try)

Finally, in Auto Attendant No. 1, set the selector code to transfer to Ext. 52 (or mailbox 52 if it will let you).

Caller calls in, gets AA-1, presses selector code, gets AA-2 (night recording) which is your announcement. Now the caller presses 0 or nothing at all, and goes back to AA-1. If they dial any other digit, they get an error, and the "announcement" starts over.

Edit -

Disable ALL selector codes in Auto Attendant 2's Night Menu, and set the Dial 0/Timeout option to transfer to Extension 51 (try the option of "record a message in mailbox 51", but I think it won't let you do that one, since it points to an auto attendant. I don't have one in front of me right now to try)
