Animation question

I have been using ImageReady for some years now, but although I'm no newbie I never came across this problem.
In my document I have some rollovers, and 2 animations. The problem is that I can't seem to be able to get them to work independentely from eachother. I mean to say, I created the animation for one slice, with their corresponding frames' times, but then when I select the other slice I need to animate, the Animation palette continues showing me the frames for the first slice Is this how's suppose to be? I was under the impression that one could make an independent animation for each slice.
