Hi Guys and Girls im kind of a newbe when it comes to animation and graphics with vb. ask me anything about sql 2000/03/05 and i could help, but i was wondering if there is an easy solution to add either an .avi or .swf to a form without controls so it looks like an intergrated part of the application. say for instance i wanted to put a small avi in my splash form what would be the best way to do this? Thanks allot for your help in advance.

I think animated gif will be the easiest possible solution, because it can be compiled into the exe. Others must be kept separate and link at runtime.

on a follow up to ZmrAbdulla's comment. if you go the route of the .gifs, and you have .avi's you can use Premiere to turn the .avi into a .gif

just fyi...
