Hello everybody!!

I am a photoshop rookie
I have done a simple animation - two frames, only one text layer differs from one to the other -
I saved it as a .gif using "save for web".
I can see my animations working on the .gif file on my PC but I sent it to my friends and they cannot see the animation, only the first frame appears

Any ideas??????

Thanks!

Gabriela

Hello...
Sorry to bother you again
But I have tried both suggestions - Image Ready and Pshop CS apps (like the link provided). In both cases, I can see the gif file with the animation on it on my PC but when I sent it via email to my recipients they cannot see any animation
Any more ideas ???

Thanks again!

Gabriela

You cannot simply open and play an animated gif on a computer. It's meant to be playded within a browser or a creation app for animated gifs.

Tell the recipient to open a blank window in their browser and use the Open command to open the gif.

Using OSX 10.3.9 on a G4

...JMGalvin is right, animated gif's in some mail applications don't work, Mac OS X Mail is one of them...

change your email you send to view as HTML, then insert picture, browse for gif file.
