Animated "pencil" effect? 1

Can anyone think of a way that I could make a clip to create the illusion that a picture was being drawn--like the viewer was watching as a big scribbled word was drawn and or something?

God, I love having you guys around...I didnt' think about masks at all! This will be an interesting one, given that I want a scribbled effect...

Another question: Is there a way t create a movie at a large size and shrink the entire thing when finished? (much like you would do a detailed graphic)

Guess you could probably create a large movie, build your graphic, and then scale down every objet before you resize your movie. But I've never done it, so you should test the theory early on, before you get to envolved in your graphic and then realize it ain't going to work!
Maybe Photoshop is the way to go!
