Animated Gifs that dont Animate

I created some animated gifs using Adode Image Ready and imported them into Photoshop CS. The problem is that once the gifs go into photoshop they are no longer animated. Am I doing something wrong or can animated gifs not work in Photoshop?

They won't play in Photoshop. Edit the individual frames In PS and then use Image Ready to animate.

Using OSX 10.3.9 on a G4

Ok thanks. I am trying to create a website that uses these gifs. Is Imageready the best solution or is there something else that I should use?

yeah Image Ready is fine. Just preview the animated gifs in a web browser after you make them.

Using OSX 10.3.9 on a G4
