Animated GIF not working correctly

I have an animated gif file that, when opened individually through Internet Explorer, will animate correctly. However, when it appears in the context of a web page, it does not animate. It's only 2K big.
Does anyone know why this is so?

Check the browser settings - some browsers allow you to stop animations.

There's always a better way. The fun is trying to find it!

Nope....animation is set to play in Internet Explorer. I'm not quite sure why it would not play though.

Do a search for "Animated Gif" in this forum. There are a few posts with the same problem. You may be able to come across a solution by following some advice given there.
