Hi,
I'm making a flashmenu for my (html) site. The flashmenu consists of animated buttons. I cannot figure out how to make one button stay selected (in its down state) after I have clicked it. Now as soon as I move the mouse it goes back to its 'up' state...

The submenu appears when I have clicked the main button, here also the buttons are animated. But I need this all to stay revealed until the user clicks on another button from the main menu.

Can anyone help?

thanks for that! I'm understanding this way of doing it now. But I have made the buttons in a different way, with an animated submenu which appears when you click on a menu button. This submenu animation is embedded in the over state in the button... I want this submenu to show until the user clicks on another menu button
