OK! this is my layout of boxes :
_ _ _
|_||_||_| _
|_||_||_||_|
|_||_||_|

I want to spin these boxes clockwise 90 degrees (AS a group)
so that they can look like this:
_ _ _
|_||_||_|
|_||_||_|
|_||_||_|
|_|

But want to do this without actually grouping them together and rotating. Because if I do, the animation will get messed up once I ungroup it. Is there a way? Please help me with this problem, its driving me nuts!

Actually it is possible.
Select all the boxes and click the Attribute button (A)
The following window should appear, click on "Show origin handle".
t2_attribute_box.gif

Now click the tick to close the window, and change your camera to a top-down view.
Notice the green dots in the center of each object? Move each of them to the location you want to use as axis of rotation.
Now if you try to rotate the objects (grouped or individually), they should share the same center.

As I say in every post, sorry about the late answer. I'm new here :p

HEY THANKS!

WOW, that actually helps alot, I thought about key framing all the frames but takes time.
You saved a ton of time

Thanks again.
