Animaged gif not working

Any idea why my animated gif not working when it's on a web server? If I double click on the .shtml file to open the file then the animated .gif file works just fine. I can see the animation. However, if I access through the web then it's not working.

Any suggestion is appreciated.

Clear your browser cache maybe? Assuming you have uploaded the animated gif properly (use BINARY if you are ftping) and you are viewing the same page locally as on the webserver, then it should work.
