ANI Change (SCH Code)

Never seen this before. I have an option 11C that I just put a new DID range into it with the 867(NXX. The range is 867-2500-2699. I am trying to change the ANI to 867-2500 but I am getting SCH Code (SCH0418)

Why won't this allow 867 as the ANAT? I have never experienced this before.

I suspect you want to outpulse CLID info with new prefix?

if yes look at CLID table and create a new one for phones that will have the new prefix.

Reusser, Thanks but I was able to change my CLID. In all my systems I have always set my ANI to match my Billing Number and now I am unable to in this PBX, and wonder why???

I looked it up in the book and found this statement:

"The ANAT together with ANLD (ANI listed DN) must add up to seven digits"

So my guess is the ANLD is already defined with more or less than a four digit number

Or, ANI package 12 does not exist.

Thanks Gene, but that's not it either. I have the ANLD set to 2500, and we have about 6 other prefixes and I can change the ANAT to any other of the prefixes with no issue.

My only thought is that I have AC2 access code of 8 and maybe it was interfering with it?

Are you able to input another number such as 868. Then change it to 867. In other words, can you kick the code a little to get it to think clearly.

Notta... No 8 combination will work. I found a couple of 7XX combination that wouldn't work too. I wonder what resource in the switch has an impact on the ANI.

How about getting rid of the ANLD and the ANAT, doing a EDD and then reload, then trying to add them.
