Just got my new tone/probe kit today
I worked all day helping install phones and cabling. The tech I worked with had at least 4 toners, some of which had Angled Bed of Nails clips. Mine came with Alligator clips. Where can I buy these clips for my toner? I had a hard time connecting the toner to the block with the alligator clips. jeff moss

I just ordered some samples from JS Popper. Hopefully they will send them and I will figure out how to connect them. jeff moss

JS Popper is the right choice, best on the market. I always replace the stock aligator clips with those. I shorten the leads since they don't need to be more than 8 inches long or so. Also, I make the lead for the tip side slightly longer for two reasons. One - when connecting the toner to a 66 block, the weight is distributed between both clips. If the leads are the same length, all the weight hangs on the top clip and tends to pull it down onto the lower clip shorting it. Two - when using the modular plug, the two bed of nails clips can short as they dangle, if the leads are different lengths the clips don't short so easily.

Good Luck! It is only my opinion, based on my experience and education...I am always willing to learn, educate me!
