I am not sure how you guys get around the problems with ghosting and profiles. Seams that every time you make a change to the user config such as make him admin or part of a domain or even giving him different permission, all settings including outlook profile, internet, odbc if configured through software such as Timesaver, delphi etc they are all gone.

how do you guys get around this problem.

Thanks

Roaming profiles will save your users settings on a network share even if the PC is imaged again.

What I end up doing is after I've imaged the PC, I delete the user profiles (if any) that were created on initial installation; NOT the Default User, All Users or Admin ones. Then I end up creating a new profile for the new user, and let him/her log in...then I add the odbc drivers, etc. that he/she needs. Otherwise, you can just copy the desktop from the All Users profile to the new user's profile, and all is well. Hope this helps, unless like was already mentioned, you'd like to create a roaming profile for each user...that's pretty cool, too. Have a good one...
