Man, it seems you just change one thing in flash and everything goes to hell...

Okay, let me ask this. Just broke up the movie, and in frame one of movie 1, i have this easy script...

loadMovieNum("music chpt 6.swf", 1);

that's loading up my sound track for all say ten movies that used to be only 1. And maybe you see where I'm going. When movie 2 loads up when you hit the button on the page of movie 1(A)...

loadMovieNum("chpt 6 B.swf", 1);

You get the movie but it kills the sound track movie as well. So how do I get the soundtrack movie to load as usual but then play independently? ( i tried the easy way -Event- but of course no go).

Load the soundtrack into a different level. If you want the sound track to always play load it into say level 5.

Code:
loadMovieNum("music chpt 6.swf",5);

Then when you load and unload movies in level 1 the sound track will be unaffected.

Clear as mud? Lemme know.

Wow JT that almost looked like you knew what you were doing!

Pix...
You just so hit that on the head. Thanks.
Sometimes, here late at night, when I'm working so damn hard to make my dreams come true, and hit such walls that make me stumble...

It's people like you, like Old, like the creators of this site and all you other folks that have selflessly offered to help, that make me give thanks.

I hope that once you see what I'm creating, that maybe you'll all be proud enough to say, "you know, we all helped make that."

I hope so.
thanks
Hoss
