I have a couple of named anchors in a particular page. I am using I.E. 5.5 and so is another user.
When I click on a link that takes the user to a specific location on another page, it works perfectly. The browser takes me right to the anchor and makes it the first thing at the top of the page.
However when this other user clicks the same anchor on the same page, it takes her to the page, but the anchor comes up somewhere in the middle of the page, making it look sloppy.
What could possibly be accounting for the difference in the way this page is viewed? We both work for the same company, so I am pretty sure that our hardware/software is on a similar platform, and as I mentioned above I do know for sure that we are using the same ie explorer version (5.5)
Also is there any way to fix this using html or javascript?
thanks. How much more water would there be in the ocean if it weren't for sponges?
