I have created a newsletter in Dreamweaver and it works fine when used in a browser window. Howver, when I send it in an email, I click on the menu item (which I have linked to an anchor tag) and the URL window shows it is looking for the tag in a local file directory.

What am I doing wrong? My predecessor may have created a workaround with some XML conversion. I'm stumped.

Thanks

show the code
why use anchors.....then we are talking a FULL on page vs. an email....
not sure if it will work but try:
don't use the page name but only the anchor itself
itshould not work in IE but in email only
eg. - LINK - mypage.html#anchor
vs.
what u can try
- LINK -#anchor

Hope it works
All the best!

the URL is relative? it must be absolute, e.g:
<a href=" and NOT
<a href="page.html">

Known is handfull, Unknown is worldfull
